The Electro-Harmonix POG3 Polyphonic Octave Generator is the most advanced iteration in the POG series, designed for players who demand expansive tonal layering and real-time control. Engineered with fast tracking and pristine polyphony, the POG3 spans four octaves, combining six independent voices: Dry, Sub-Octaves (-1 and -2), Higher Octaves (+1 and +2), and a selectable +5th. Each voice can be shaped, balanced, and positioned for stereo imaging via dedicated pan controls and dual output routing.
A suite of enhanced tone-shaping tools includes adjustable Attack, Filter, and Detune parameters—refined from previous generations—plus an input gain stage and a master volume control. The FOCUS feature allows for further control over the upper octave voices, while a multimode filter introduces dynamic Q and envelope sweeps for synth-like responsiveness. With 100 savable presets, illuminated sliders and buttons, and a high-visibility OLED screen, navigating complex configurations is both intuitive and efficient.
MIDI and expression pedal compatibility further extend the POG3’s capabilities for live or studio environments, offering seamless integration into a wide range of rigs. Whether you’re chasing shimmer, drawbar organ emulation, or densely layered pitch textures, the POG3 delivers unmatched sonic versatility in a powerful, pedalboard-ready format.
